Xcelsius Fix Pack 3.5 Released

This fix pack fixes three bugs. I particularly had a hard time with the number one here, glad it’s fixed. Use this link to download it. Full release note here.

Description of the Fixes:

Live Office Data not refreshing

Xcelsius Live Office
Xcelsius Live Office

If you are among the adopters of Live Office connection to retrieve data from Webi reports you may have encountered this issue. When using Xcelsius and Live Office, when trying to refresh data from a Webi report the flash presentation did not refresh correctly (shows old data). This is due to data caching issues. Here is a step by step process to solve the problem:

Xcelsius Properties Windows not showing

Even with the “Properties” option checked under the “View” menu, when you try to click a component to see its properties, the property’s windows will not show up. It has been brought to our attention the issue relates to installation/uninstallation of Xcelsius fixpacks under certain versions of Windows, but that has not been confirmed.

Xcelsius Data Insertion Types

“An Error Occurred when loading the file” resolved

I guarantee you that sooner or later in your Xcelsius development life you will see this error:”An Error Occurred when loading the file. For more information contact the file creator or your system administrator.”
